Programming Embedded Linux
PlannedPLT currently supports programming MCUs and RFSoCs, through JTAG, SWD or UART. (https://plt.bcdevices.com/hc/en-us/community/topics/360000898411-MCU-Support)
Extend PLT-OS to support programming embedded Linux systems, which typically:
- Have a much larger firmware image size (16 MiB .. 2 GiB)
- Need to be programmed through eMMC (SDIO/QSPI), SD-Card interface (SDIO/QSPI), USB mass storage emulation (MSD) or Ethernet
- Take a lot longer to program (several minutes); may need programming carousel to achieve desired throughput
